Registration opens before each Sunday service — at 8:35am and 11:15am. Young people are welcome to register themselves at the Hope Youth registration desk near the entrance. They’ll receive a name label to give them access to the group. Young people must have a responsible adult in the building.

Around 30 minutes into the service, the meeting host will announce that it’s time for young people to go to their groups.

Groups are arranged by school year as follows:

As young people get older, we want to encourage them to be part of the main service. This helps avoid a situation where they finish youth but find it difficult to cope with the service. On weeks when youth groups aren’t meeting for certain age groups, young people can choose to sit together in the auditorium, often joined by youth leaders. This encourages conversations and provides opportunities to dig deeper into the Sunday service during mid groups and Friday nights.

Hope Youth follows a curriculum designed by the Hope Church youth team. It focuses on exploring the Bible in ways that connect with the challenges and questions young people face today, helping them grow in faith and understanding. Sessions include teaching, discussion, and opportunities for applying Biblical truths in daily life.

Hope Youth areas are secured by an access control system requiring a pass to enter. Entry points are monitored by CCTV. We have trained designated safeguarding officers present on Sundays to provide vigilance and support, ensuring a safe environment for all young people.

When you first register your young person, please share any medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs—whether formally diagnosed or not. This helps us support them safely and comfortably. Please keep us updated if anything changes. At the end of the service, young people are released from their groups and are expected to find their responsible adult in the building. You might want to agree on a meeting place with your young person beforehand.

Hope Youth is led by a dedicated team of passionate youth workers. All team members undergo DBS checks and safeguarding training to ensure your young person’s safety and well-being.
